Christian leaders and members from across the 10 local government areas of Osun Central Senatorial District have endorsed the senatorial bid of Kunle Rasheed Adegoke, SAN, popularly known as KRAD.
The endorsement was made on Sunday during an interactive meeting held at Holy Saviour Church, Igbona, Osogbo, and organised by the KRAD Christian Support Group led by Bishop Ogunmodede.
The participants, drawn from Christian bodies including the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), expressed support for Adegoke’s aspiration to represent the district in the Senate.
Bishop Ogunmodede commended KRAD for what he described as his astute leadership, saying the Christian community had confidence in his ability to provide representation for the people of Osun Central.
Addressing the gathering, Adegoke assured the Christian community that, if elected, he would work to ensure that constituents benefit from government programmes and opportunities.
He also outlined areas of focus for young people, women and persons with disabilities, including digital skills training, access to credit for businesses and artisanal skills development.
Adegoke said such initiatives would be aimed at improving economic opportunities and equipping constituents with skills relevant to the modern economy.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the candidate and members of the Christian community to discuss expectations from legislative representation and the development needs of communities across the senatorial district.
Adegoke is the All Progressives Congress candidate for Osun Central Senatorial District ahead of the 2027 National Assembly elections.
