The Federal Government has extended its technology-driven empowerment and clean-energy intervention to Oyo State through the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure, NASENI.
The programme provides beneficiaries with renewable-energy solutions, livelihood support and other resources aimed at reducing living costs and improving productivity.
The Oyo edition of the programme was held in Ibadan.
NASENI Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Khalil Halilu, said the initiative was designed to make technological development produce practical benefits for households and communities.
The programme forms part of NASENI’s broader effort to promote technological development, renewable energy and economic self-reliance.
The agency said the intervention was intended to support livelihoods while expanding access to clean-energy solutions.
The Oyo programme places the state among locations receiving the Federal Government’s technology and energy interventions.
