Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has been included in Nigeria’s squad for the upcoming 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches despite an injury that has kept him out for about two weeks.
Head coach Eric Chelle also handed a first call-up to Saudi-based forward Ilenikhena.
Nigeria’s squad includes goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali, midfielder Frank Onyeka and several of the country’s established international players.
The Super Eagles are preparing for their upcoming AFCON qualifying fixtures and a friendly against Russia.
